Training Times

Squad Training Sessions & Learn To Swim Programme

The club keeps a whatsApp group for parents of swimmers who train at KES. The system is used to pass messages very quickly if, for instance, the session is cancelled at short notice. The group is sometimes used for other purposes. If you go to KES on a regular basis and wish to be added to the group please email Paul who will add you to the group.

 

The total training hours (pool time only) per week available for each learn-to-swim group and training squad are as follows:

Widths (learn-to-swim) - 0.5

Dolphins - 0.5

Development Bronze - 1.5

Development Silver - 3.0 (a maximum of 3.0 hrs from the 4.0 hrs available)

Development Gold - 5.0

Junior Competition - 6.25

Junior Performance - 9.0

Senior Competition - 7.75 or 11.5 (including morning sessions)

Senior Performance - 13.0

 

Land training - 0.75-1.0 hrs of land training is available at Abbey Stadium (on Sundays - new times to be confirmed) to most swimmers in the Junior and Senior squads.  Contact Chris for full details of times and availability.

 

'Every effort will be made to ensure that every session runs as planned. To ensure that monthly costs are kept as low as possible there will not be a refund of subs in the event that a session is cancelled.'
